Harry Otu Hasse, a candidate for the position of Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Ayawaso Central Municipal Assembly, has expressed his commitment to improving the assembly’s reputation if elected.
He plans to attract investors to transform the Malata market into a modern facility that will promote development and growth in the area.
Regarding the drainage issues within the municipality, Hasse stated that he will work diligently to establish an effective drainage system.
He emphasized, “I believe that, under my leadership, I can address the numerous drainage challenges by bringing in experts to construct the necessary systems. This will help mitigate flooding during heavy rains.”
Hasse is confident that he can make a significant contribution to solving these problems if given the opportunity.
To address the high unemployment rate in the municipality, Hasse outlined a plan to introduce nighttime job opportunities for the youth.
He believes this initiative will help implement the 24-hour economy policy advocated by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
“These nighttime activities will be free for the youth, giving them a chance to earn an income, which will provide both motivation and financial support,” he stated.
In terms of healthcare, Harry Otu Hasse revealed his intention to convert the existing health facility in Malata into a top-notch children’s hospital to ensure quality healthcare for constituents and the surrounding community.
Harry Otu Hasse is a distinguished and knowledgeable politician, security, and development expert. He is currently serving his first term as chairman of the ruling party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and has been a two-term assembly member for the Pig-farm electoral area from 2015 to 2023.
