Asante Kotoko are set to lose one of their influential players ahead of the start of the second round of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

They will open their second round game at the Baba Yara Stadium against Dreams FC but that will be preceded by the President Cup clash against arch rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The worrying news however is that, Asante Kotoko are likely to lose their talisman, Fabio Gama. The Brazilian it is reported will not renew his contract with the Porcupine Warriors with reasons yet to be given.
